Jaime is currently a trainee at the United Nations Regional Information Center for Western European countries (UNRIC). He studied Law at the Complutense University of Madrid, and he holds a MA in International Relations by the IE Business School. Prior to UNRIC, Jaime has been a trainee at the European Parliament in Brussels and has worked for a political consultancy in Madrid. BeilindaBeilinda Li - Editor Theme section

Beilinda is currently an intern for the Benelux desk at the UN Regional Information Centre for Western Europe (UNRIC). Born in The Netherlands, she initially trained as a ballet dancer, before studying electronic music at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. She went on to complete a BSc in History and Philosophy of Science at University College London. Beilinda is especially interested in exploring the connections between art, science and philosophy, and the policy challenges facing an ever more technology-dependent society. Susannah savage IVSusannah Savage – Co-Editor-in-Chief

Susannah is currently a trainee at the European Commission working in the Coordination Unit of DG Connect. She studied French and History at the University of Edinburgh, where she worked on the student newspaper and edited the University's History magazine. After graduating Susannah worked for the British Council on the French Island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean and spent some time travelling in Madagascar and India before returning to London and the cold British weather last summer. Catherine Collins IVCatherine Collins – Editor International Issues

Catherine is currently a trainee with the European Parliament, where she is working with the Directorate-General of Personnel on their internal news site, NewsHound. Holding a MA in Journalism and a Bachelor's of Science, Catherine has travelled around Australia, the US, Canada, Peru and Europe to date, and she hopes to do much more! She most recently worked with the Higher Education Authority of Ireland and the Irish Research Council on Communications and has contributed to two national Irish newspapers. Gladys VercammenGladys Vercammen – Social Media Manager

Gladys is currently the intern to the deputy director at the UN Regional Information Centre (UNRIC). She holds a BA and MA in French and German literature and linguistics from Ghent University. After graduating in 2012, she taught undergraduate French at Ohio University for a year. After that, she did an internship with an environmental lawyer in Switzerland before joining the UNRIC team. She loves travelling, her friends and her cat and possesses a plethora of ridiculous dance moves.

 

 

Sebastien PensisSebastien Pensis – Social Media Manager

Sebastien is currently a trainee at the United Nations Regional Information Center for Western European Countries (UNRIC). He has a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from The Ohio State University and is completing his Master’s Degree in European Studies, specializing in Politics, at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
